My new Cockatiel Oliver and my Quaker Parrot Abby
I’ve got my new cockatiel for a week now. He’s 10 weeks old and very cute and Quaker Parrot 6 months old, she’s very talkative.I used to have a few cockatiel before and know how to take care of my pets. They living in two different cage at the moment even tho Abby welcome her new friend with open arms . So if you have any questions regards to wing clipping and diets ect…let me know…

As you can imagine since Pluto started using his wings to fly I haven’t had a moments peace! He is still getting used to his wings and as you can see hasn’t quite got the launch down pat having to “Fall” off his perch to get started and then screaming as he comes into land!

Twinkle the Quaker Parrot having a bath
Twinkle enjoying a nice bath. It’s only a shallow tin lid so she can’t get too wet, but she does get in that more easily than the sink, we think she feels less threatened by it. You can just about see the missing feathers from around her neck where she has been plucking them. Nawty little thing.

Quaker Parrot Climbing Down To Come To Me
Keiko loves being with me. When I work on my computer half way across the living room, she sees me and – especially if I have any kind of food – she climbs down, waddles across the floor and usually climbs up on to the sofa. In this video – I helped her up to me. Sometimes, I just have to say: “Come to Mama” and she finds her way down and comes to me. She’s such a Super Great Love of a Quaker
