How can you tell if a Quaker Parrot is a male or female?

Category: Monk Parakeets

I have a Green Quaker Parrot and we can seem to tell if it’s male or female?

Can someone help me figure this out?

Quakers have to be DNA tested to determine sex. A Vet should be able to do this, they will have to draw a blood sample.

Tell it you want to talk about your relationship, if it tries to fly away it is male.

    The crest of the beak.
Above the beak, and is its light pink or purpleish, its a girl, if its dard and blueish then its a boy… i think, all i know is thats how you see the gender of parakeets…

DNA it cost around $30 and the Bird Shop will take a blood sample and send it out to be tested.

Or if an egg is layed by your bird, the its a female
